SHORT BIO

Ronny Almagor (born in 1990), is a painter who lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel. A B.F.A Fine-Art graduate of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2018).

Her works describe performances from the urban space, and in particular deal with urban Vegetation, Koi and Goldfish found inside ornamental ponds and various birds.

Her work practice is characterized by playing with the painting medium itself - such as inventing compositions through various of images, transitions between different points of view and connections between the background and the image above it. Through the dialogue that takes place between the images in her works, the artist strives to capture moments of beauty and full of movement, which are also elusive, one-off and temporary.

Almagor’s works has been displayed in solo shows and two persons exhibition in various galleries, such as the 5 Mazal Dagin Galley, Old Jaffa,  Horace Richter Gallery, Old Jaffa and Tova Osman Art Gallery, Tel Aviv. Her works have been displayed in various galleries such as Assemblage Staircase Gallery, Maya Art Gallery, Tel aviv; Teo Center, Herzliya; Artist Workshop Gallery, Tel Aviv; the Art Workshop Gallery, Yavne; Mazeh 9, Tel Aviv and the Artists’ House in Rishon LeZion. Her works are found in various private collections in Israel, New York and London.
